Text: Determine the susceptibility of Nocardia species and/or other aerobic Actinomycetes isolates to a profile of antimicrobial agents. Routine susceptibility testing of Nocardia isolates is recommended since the Nocardia genus contains a heterogeneous group of organisms that has variable antibiotic susceptibilities.
