Instruction: 3 mL Serum from Red (no gel), Ambient, Draw in prewarmed tube/keep at 37C. Separate immediately. Min 2 mL.
Text: Cryoglobulins may be present in macroglobulinemia of Waldenström, myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lupus, chronic active hepatitis, & other viral infections. A high percentage of patients with cryoglobulinemia have clinical symptoms, & the most common are vascular (ie, purpura and digital necrosis). Raynaud phenomenon is also common.
