Text: For those individuals with a family history of thrombophilia who have
experienced at least one episode of deep venous thrombosis, but who are not APC Resistant. 18% with familial thrombophilia are carriers of this mutation. The mutation is associated with an increased plasma
prothrombin level.
Methodology: Extraction/Amplification by PCR.
