Text: Monitors industrial exposure to chromium. Chromium exposure through the inhalation of insoluble chromium compounds may produce pneumoconiosis with impairment of pulmonary function. Exposure to the inorganic soluble salts can precipitate skin ulcerations, dermatitis, perforation of the nasal septum, and respiratory sensitization.
