AMS Laboratory Employment Drug Testing
Program
 AMS Lab performs urine drug screening at its
Wichita facility, eliminating the need to send
specimens to an out-of-town lab.
Highlights
- Drug
screens are run daily, Monday through Friday. Screening
results are available the
morning after they are collected.
- Positive
drug screens are confirmed by GC/MS,
long recognized as the method of choice
for confirmations.
- The
AMS Toxicology Lab is inspected and
accredited by the Kansas Department
of Health and Environment.
- In
compliance with CLIA 88, the Lab is
enrolled in College of American
Pathologists’ proficiency
testing program.
- AMS
provides Chain of Custody forms, collection
kits, and detailed
instructions.
- Drug
screen collection by trained personnel
is available at AMS
Lab as well as other AMS
draw stations in Wichita.
- Toxicologists
are on staff and available to answer
questions.
